Will the wedding be outdoors or indoors?

Our evening will be outdoors in the garden, weather permitting. October weather in the Midwest can be unpredictable!

How can I get to the venue?


Elawa Farm does not allow parking on the premises. We will be providing transportation from the Forester Hotel (200 N Field Dr, Lake Forest, IL 60045). If you are driving into the city or not staying at the Forester Hotel, please meet at the Forrester or you can Uber directly to Elawa. 
Shuttles will leave at 4:30PM to Elawa.

Are children allowed?

We love all of your children, but due to space restrictions, we cannot accommodate children unless told otherwise.

What should I wear?

Please join us in your formal best! We envision a beautiful evening with our guests in tuxedos or suits and ties for the gentlemen, and floor-length OR formal cocktail dresses for the ladies.

As we will be celebrating outdoors on the grass, we encourage you to choose your footwear accordingly. Block heels, wedges, and flats will be your most comfortable and practical choice for walking on the lawn. We can't wait to celebrate with you.
